Los Angeles couple Viridiana and David decided to tie the knot in September 2018, in their own luxurious private oasis, Villa La Joya. From start to finish, their elegant wedding was positively seamless thanks to the wonderful vision of our bride and groom and the unique, accommodating venue.
After the dresses were on, the makeup was flawless and the hair was perfectly placed, Viridiana and her bridesmaids made their way down to the stunning oceanfront ceremony. Our blushing bride sauntered elegantly over the soft grass to her loving husband to be, as palm trees swayed overhead. We made Viridiana’s dreams of a chic wedding with a hint of boho come alive by adding fragrant pastel flowers, flowing white fabric and driftwood elements to her towering wedding arch. A picture perfect setting.
As the bride and groom promised their lives to each other for better or for worse and two smiles became one, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. The sheer joy and love emanating from there guests was something the Mango team will never forget. After the tears had been wiped away and the newlyweds had shared their first kiss, they headed off to enjoy a private photo shoot on the beach with the Amor Amor Weddings while their friends and family enjoyed a refreshing cocktail.
Once the shoot was over, the wedding party all made their way into the lavishly decorated dining area in Villa La Joya. Twinkling lights, bursts of tropical flowers and flourishes of gold turned this oceanfront villa into an exquisite mansion. Viridiana and David made their way to the top table and sat upon wicker thrones that were highlighted by vintage candles and perfectly placed bouquets by non-other than the magnificent Vanessa Jaimes.
After an exquisite meal, the party really got started as the music began to pump, with special selections that were made by our very own DJ groom David. The wedding party sipped on champagne and danced under the stars until the wee hours of the morning. Finally ending this fabulous day by jumping into the refreshing pool to cool down and wash off a night of endless fun.

Hosting in such a unique venue as Villa La Joya truly gives a wedding a private, exclusive and luxurious feel that every bride should have on her big day. Mango weddings was awesome. Our day was perfect. They planned our wedding from start to finish. They are very responsive and knowledgeable about what you gotta do to have a great wedding. They will go out of there way too make sure you are happy. You can trust them to make your day special. We had all our friends and family fly over from Los Angeles to Playa del Carmen and everything went as planned. We decided to have our wedding outside of the resort and Mango Weddings helped us pick the perfect venue. They worked with us to help with all the vendors and get the best deals!!
