MIA RESTAURANTE & BEACH CLUB, TULUM

As Caribbean weather can sometimes be unpredictable, it was important to Brooke and Spencer to have a beautiful tropical wedding come rain or shine. That’s why they chose Mia Restaurant & Beach Club as their dream venue.

Not only is this Tulum venue located on the white Caribbean sands, perfect for a beach wedding, it also has an enclosed ocean-view restaurant, perfect for a wedding in the rain or a romantic reception. Our loved up couple decided to take advantage of both of these unique areas.

Brooke spent her morning enjoying a pamper session with her bridesmaids in their matching tropical pajamas. After the champagne toast had been given, her hair and makeup styled to perfection and her closest friends by her side, our bride to be was ready to marry the man of her dreams.

Spencer stood with the biggest grin on his face as he waited for his blushing bride to walk down the aisle. As Brook appeared on the arm of her father, the pampas grass swayed in the soft sea breeze and tears formed in the eyes of her guests. Our bride was able to wear stunning jewel-encrusted heels to walk down the aisle as Mia Restaurant & Beach Club have a purpose-built wooden boardwalk that leads through the sand to their picturesque hexagonal wedding arch.

The twosome chose one of the groomsmen to officiate the ceremony which gave it a heartfelt and personal feel. Brooke and Spencer read out their hand-written vows and promised to spend the rest of their life growing and bettering themselves together. After a truly moving ceremony, the wedding party retired to the on-site restaurant to enjoy some cocktails. Meanwhile, the newlyweds took advantage of the countless stunning and unique photo opportunities around Mia Restaurant & Beach Club, with a personal photoshoot by Sea & Love Wedding Films.

Once Brooke and Spencer got their perfect wedding snaps, they re-joined their friends and family in the Mia Restaurant to begin their wedding reception. Each table was beautifully decorated by Pure Love Floral Design, with a Monstera placeholder and gold name plaque left for each guest. The tropical vibes continued throughout the restaurant with a Ratan love-seat for the newlyweds and a green jungle wall with a neon sign saying “All you need is love”.

After enjoying a 3-course meal from Mia’s renowned gourmet chef Jesus Gibaja, DJ Luca cranked up the music and the party started. Seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces as they danced and laughed the night away made the day truly special. The only way to end such a special day was to salute the happy couple with a breathtaking sparkler exit.

It was such a joy to be able to make this tropical-chic Caribbean wedding a reality for Brooke and Spencer. Everyone at Mango Weddings and Events wants to wish the happy couple a lifetime of happiness and love. Thank you for choosing us as your wedding planning team.
