If we could only use one word to describe Lauren and Kagen’s wedding at Nizuc Resort, we’d use sultry. But if we could use several, we’d say sexy, glamorous, modern, elegant, and romantic.
Lauren’s dress stole the show for us, the gold sparkle was a dream! The ribbed bodice and ballgown skirt plus matching veil fit her like a glove! It encapsulated the wedding’s vibe perfectly- she was a modern Grace Kelly!
But to say that was the only detail we adored would be a lie! EVERY detail was modern, timeless perfection!
The Wedding Venue:
Nizuc Resort & Spa in Cancun is a fabulous choice for destination weddings! It’s convenient, yet feels quite secluded. If you’re looking for a contemporary paradise- look no further!
The Outdoor Ceremony:
Nizuc has six outdoor spaces to choose from- the Terra Nostra Terrace was perfect for Lauren + Kagen’s intimate gathering.
Their aisle was lined with lush, white floral arrangements and bench seating that ushered the couple to the altar with tall, whimsical, asymmetrical arrangements of all white blooms that cascaded to the floor.
The Outdoor Reception:
Terra Nostra Terrace’s Lower Deck is surrounded by mangroves and a flowing river – giving it a rainforest feel, with the gentle breeze of the ocean too! The deck is ideal for long estate tables. Lined with romantic, whimsical white florals and candlelight, the reception was quite intimate (and obviously gorgeous).
Once dinner was served and the dance floor was open, live entertainment got guests out of their seats and the party could begin!
Once again, we’re smitten with Lauren’s sparkly fringe second look dress (her style is impeccable – don’t you think?).
One of the things that we’re known for in Mexico is our incredible entertainment options- from mariachi bands to traditional Mexican dances like the Concheros and Danza del Venado, if you want a lively reception, we know all the best entertainers in Riviera Maya.
To accompany your cake cutting, we highly recommend the champagne tower. This is a fun “extra” moment for the two of you and guests love it too!
