CLASSY NIZUC RESORT AND SPA WEDDING

Lauren and Camillus’ classy Nizuc Resort & Spa wedding was a dream come true for the couple. With the love and support of family and friends and a luxurious wedding location, they had an incredible time. We felt privileged they chose us to plan their Nizuc Resort & Spa wedding for them, and we were happy to take on the task. Here’s how their amazing wedding went.

Nizuc Resort & Spa is one of our favorite wedding venues. There’s a reason we’ve planned many weddings there, after all.

When it comes to weddings, the Nizuc Resort & Spa offers seven different venues, including six outdoor options. For their Nizuc Resort & Spa wedding, Lauren and Camillus held theirs on the A’Kan Terrace.

This is a great outdoor spot that creates natural elegance with its use of wood, stone, and surrounding greenery. It’s a simple space, built in such a way so as to allow the wedding to breathe, to be the focus, not what’s going on behind it. But what is there accentuates an already grand affair into something unforgettable.

We loved how much fun Lauren and Camillus had at their wedding. As wedding planners, you always know you’ve done a good job when the couple feels free to relax and smile. So, it’s with great pride that we report Lauren and Camillus were nothing but smiles at their Nizuc Resort & Spa wedding.

Part of that comes from a great rehearsal, which went well. To us, this is a big part of a wedding. It’s a great lead-in to the big day, so it needs to be planned well. 

As expected, Lauren and Camillus’ rehearsal paid off. On the big day, everyone in the wedding party came out looking sharp and composed. Of course, no one could compare to the bride, but that’s just the way things go. 

And as things go, everyone had a great time at the wedding. It wasn’t just Lauren and Camillus smiling, after all. Everyone enjoyed watching them get married, and when it was all said and done, they stood and showered them with flower petals and more love.

As far as we’re concerned, it’s hard to do it better than that.

We love a good wedding venue that also has options for the reception too. So, after Lauren and Camillus’ Nizuc Resort & Spa wedding, it was time for their Nizuc Resort & Spa reception. Theirs went down on the Terra Nostra Terrace & Lower Deck, which overlooks a reflecting pool and is flanked by mangroves and a river.

As soon as it was time to cut loose, the party got going. People were dancing, laughing, and having a great time beneath the string lights. It was a great way to close out the night.

Destination weddings are always worth it. They’re unique, unforgettable experiences that only come around once in a lifetime. It takes a lot of work to put one together though, but we’re always happy to take on that challenge for our clients, just like we did for Lauren, Camillus, and all their friends and family.
